About The Adventure

Exploring the National Park and banks of the Zambezi on horseback is a unique and exciting way to further engage with the beautiful animals we share the planet with. The trail winds its way through an area that is overflowing with vegetation, birds, and wildlife. An experienced guide will accompany the trip, and explain the intricacies of the surrounding eco-system as clients explore the landscape. An opportunity to learn about the wide variety of flora, fauna, history, and ecology of the area.

Trip Itinerary

  • Explore the banks of the Zambezi River and the National Park
  • Camera use a small waist bag to carry these
  • Walking shoes
  • Long trousers
  • Sunscreen and mosquito repellant
  • No bulky backpacks.

* The guides carry your water and a small amount of other things

  • Minimum 1 pax – maximum 4 pax
  • Larger groups can be accommodated, however groups will be split into 6 – 8 pax at one time
  • Activity lasts approx.3 hours in total
  • Maximum weight 85 kgs in your riding

  • The operators reserve the right to not take a client whose physical condition is, in their opinion, a danger to themselves or their horse
  • An indemnity form MUST be signed before the safari commences, a parent or guardian needs to sign for individuals under 18 years
  • Not Suitable for clients who are pregnant, suffer from back problems, epilepsy or heart conditions
  • All novice riders must wear a helmet
  • No client may undertake a safari if under the influence of alcohol or any form of narcotic.
  • We reserve the right to prevent any client from taking the safari if in the opinion of the guide or manager their condition renders them a danger to themselves and other clients
  • Please inform us of any special requests
    Special dietary requirements need to be communicated in advance

* Length of ride may be adapted to the client’s fitness, and ability and the temperature. All of the former put more stress on the horse.

Trip Preparation

  • Return transfers from hotels/lodges in Victoria Falls Town
  • Tea, coffee, fruit juice and biscuits are served in the stable gardens as clients watch the spray of the fall.
  • Cordials and snacks are served under the shady teak trees afterwards. Snacks may include olives, nuts, and cheese biscuits
  • Any items that are not mentioned in the inclusions
  • Visa Fees
  • Rates subject to a minimum of 2 guests travelling
  • The operator may reroute the itinerary or accommodate in similar lodges in case of non-availability
  • Single traveller supplement and child rates will be quoted on request
  • Validity periods are as specified above – should a booking fall over two rate periods the rate will change and we reserve the right to re-quote
  • The rates quoted are subject to change without prior warning if there are any increases in bed levies, park fees, ROE, fuel, sales tax or VAT, third-party services or any other circumstances beyond our control in the countries featured in this quote
